I think that the business world has the temptation to not treat others fair.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an independent US government agency, directly responsible to Congress, and regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable. The regulation of the FCC permits the big boys (media) to buy the small businesses. Since there has been so many advancements concerning technology in the media. People are moved with ads so there is always competition going on to get the business of the people. The larger businesses are always trying to buy small businesses but due from the set of laws that has been put in place by the FCC, makes it hard for large companies to overtake the smaller businesses.

The business world continues to get larger and larger making the smaller business either close down or be purchased by the larger companies. We stay in a society where they say, “ Everyone is for themselves”. The FCC being put in place was and is the best thing that man could have created. I wonder how society would be without the regulation of the FCC. It is because of the FCC that radio, television, and other avenues can be safe and fair to the people.

The people still has the freedom to make choices in which cable, satellite, television, and radio. It is because of this reason the freedom of the people that I think that the regulations should remain the same. The FCC has and do make a big difference in our country.
