Robert F. Kennedy“ There are those who look at things the way they are, and ask why.

Many have lived and died standing for the rights of the human race.

Three bullet wounds to the head is all it took to end forty-two year old presidential candidate Robert Kennedy’s life. Throughout his short-life he was surrounded by politics, in the end dying, much like his brother John F. Kennedy, in the line of work which he loved. He was a son and brother taken from his family, a politician taken from his cause, and a husband and father taken too soon from the ones he loved.

Robert F. Kennedy, a son, a brother, a husband, a father, and a legacy. Robert Francis Kennedy’s journey began on November 20, 1925, in Brookline, Massachusetts. He was born the seventh of nine children to Joseph P.

Kennedy, son of a wealthy business man, and Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy, daughter of the mayor of Boston, Massachusetts. Growing up he was raised in the life of wealth and privilege. Robert’s childhood was greatly shaped around his father’s values that one should strive to do their best in any and all things they did (Advameg, Inc.).

Robert was very religious throughout his youth as a devout Catholic, so much that he even served as an altar boy. Beginning from a young age however, young Robert was constantly seeking out approval from his two older brothers, Joseph P. Kennedy Jr., and John F.

Kennedy. In early 1938, when Robert was only twelve years old, his father because the US Ambassador to the United Kingdom, uprooting and moving the entire family to Great Britain. It did not take long for the British press to realize the Kennedy’s charming good looks. They were considered darlings of the press what with their handsome good looks, and charming and powerful personalities. Their time in England was cut short when the threat of World War II broke out.
