Neone used nanotechnology to build little robots (called “ nanobots”) that could make copies of themselves. Discuss whether or not you believe the nanobots would be alive. Explain why or why not? I think that with the way technology is advancing that it is a possibility that nanobots can be evolve as small micro machines but not be alive. I feel that in the future they may be able to act as they are alive, but it is not God created and would not be alive and would only respond to the program implemented advises it to do. Nanotechnology basically uses little nanobots to change the molecular structure of objects at the subatombic level.
Nanobots is one of the emerging area and is an area of research in the field of nanotechnology. This technology will be helpful in curing many diseases such as cancer. Nanobots will be able to cure a disease in a much better way as compared to other techniques such as chemotherapy in which the infected cells cannot be targeted accurately. Nanobots can be created to enter into your body and fix whatever needs to be fixed. It can repair every single cell in your body. It can prevent the cancer cells from getting a foothold or perhaps even stop them from multiplying. The Nanobots can fix and repair all your tissues for peak health.
To sum it all up, nanobots can evolve with the right programming. In other words, it is possible that they can be programmed to learn and respond based on info learned. From the e-Activity, discuss what you believe are the main points of the article. Explain how it relates to this week’s lessons. Give examples with your response. More than 60 million men, women, and children in the U. S. carry the Toxoplasma parasite, but very few have symptoms because the immune system usually keeps the parasite from causing illness. Toxoplasmosis is a parasite that causes illness. For an example, cats eats birds and rodents.
Toxoplasmosis is normally carried within birds and rodents. Some people like cats and have them as pets. The then carries this parasite and releases it within it’s feces. The feces fade into the soil and then contaminates our water.. I guess like nanobots in this week lesson they both can spread in the body and have a cause and effect. For nanobots, that would be to fight off bacteria and disease causing phenomenons to prevent illness and with Toxoplasmosis, it causes illness and possibly interfering with the brain’s dopamine system. It has been said that Toxoplasma causes schizophrenia, but not proven yet.
