The James-Lange theory is the opposite of the Cannon-Bard theory believing that the reaction came then the emotion came. The Limbic System is a complicated set of structures that is located on both sides of the thalamus, under the cerebrum. It is ultimately responsible for the emotions in our life (Pinel, 2009).
